Play Number Chain online and turn a board of small numbers into one giant goal tile. This kid-friendly puzzle game asks you to link matching numbers, merge them, and climb through a series of levels.
The board starts with tiles like 2 and 4. From there, every chain you build pushes your numbers higher.
What Makes This Game Unique
In this number chain game, you can link tiles in all eight directions, including diagonals. As a result, the board opens up in ways you might not expect.
Longer chains also pay off in a big way. Merging more tiles multiplies the result instead of just adding it up. Three 2s make an 8, four 2s make a 16, and five 4s make a 64.
Gameplay Overview
Each level gives you a goal tile and a set number of moves. You drag across matching tiles, release, and watch them merge into one higher tile at the end of your chain.
After each merge, the remaining tiles drop down and fresh ones fall in from above. Because the board keeps changing, a smart chain now can set up an even bigger one on your next move.
If you slip, you won't lose anything. Simply slide back over the previous tile, and the chain unwinds without penalty.

How to Play Number Chain Game
- Pick a level from the map.
- Touch or click a tile, then drag across neighboring tiles that share the same number.
- Release to merge. Any chain of two or more tiles becomes one higher-value tile at the last position.
- Tap Hint if you can't spot a chain, or tap Undo to take back your last move.
- Keep merging until the goal tile appears.
Goal
Build the goal tile shown for your level before your moves run out. Reaching it unlocks the next level.
Speed matters too. The more moves you have left when you finish, the more golden stars you earn, up to three.
Replayability
Once you clear a level, you can go back for a better star rating. The game keeps your best result, so every replay is a chance to improve.
You can also change the challenge yourself. Switch to a bigger board, add the number 8 to the starting tiles, or head to the Endless mission and chase a higher score.
Your progress, stars, and settings save on your device, so you can pick up where you left off.

An Out of Moves screen appears. From there, you can retry the level or undo your last move to keep going.
Yes. Relaxed Zen mode gives you unlimited moves, and the Endless mission has no move limit either.
